Youths have urged to embrace God and support effort towards achieving a peaceful, united and progressive Nigeria.
The call was made by Prophet Dom Daniel Anyanwu, General Superintendent, Miraculous Deliverance Gospel Mission, Owerri during his sermon at a special church service, yesterday.
The cleric also advised the youths to gainfully engage themselves with any work or craft, stressing that God would only bless or make them prosper through their handiwork.

According to him, "God does not bless an idle person. He blesses us through our handiwork. So if you don't have a handiwork and you are expecting God to bless you, you are a failure already."
Prophet Anyanwu also offered special prayers for the Nigerian leaders and the youths, stressing that, "it is only through prayers and God's grace that we will live to see Nigeria of our collective dream."
Speaking, some special guests at the church service including Chief Barr. Enyinnaya Onuegbu, Senior Special Adviser to Imo State Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma on Political Matters, HRH Eze Omadike of Umuoma Nekede, Barr. Chijioke Onwubuariri and Chief Mrs. Collins Obi appreciated God for using Prophet Anyanwu to bring massive Imo youths to God.
They stressed that it is majorly by instilling fear of God and inculcating good moral standard in the youths that the prevalent involvement of youths in violence crimes and social vices would drastically be reduced.
Onuegbu and others equally charged the youths, Imo citizens and the entire Nigerians to embrace peace, unity as well as collaboratively support and complement efforts of the government and others to achieve a better society.
One of the highlights of the church service was the presentation of empowerment items to indigent widows and less privileged members of the church courtesy of Mrs. Collins Obi.
