Imo Anti-Kidnapping boss, Oladimeji bags NPF Best Crime Buster of the year award

The Head, Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Imo State Command, CSP Odeyeyiwa Oladimeji has received the best Crime Buster of the year award by the Nigerian Police Force, NPF. 

Society Mirror gathered that Oladimeji beat two other nominees in the award category to clinch the laurel.

In the same vein, the CP, Aboki Danjuma equally received a commendation letter in recognition of his crime fighting dexterity and achievements since his arrival in Imo State. 

The letter was presented to him by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode Egbetokun, at event organised to honour officers who have distinguished themselves in effective service delivery, held in Abuja on Monday.

Speaking earlier IGP Egbetokun said the award event is in line with the provisions of Section 92 of the Police Act 2020, and Order 68 of the Force Orders and Instructions, and will be a milestone in recognizing the collective efforts of all officers in upholding law and order in the nation.

He disclosed that the awards was designed to bestowed upon all officers who played a crucial role in resolving major cases, promoting a sense of camaraderie, unity, and teamwork within the force.

Wishing all awardees and nominees the very best at the ceremony, the IGP also emphasised their crucial role in maintaining law and order across the country, just as he charged all officers and men to continually show devotion to duty as the NPF looks forward to honouring more deserving officers in the future.
