Imo State Police Commissioner, CP Aboki Danjuma has said that his men are committed to upholding quality service delivery and professionalism aimed at riding the state of all forms of crimes and criminality.
Danjuma reiterated that the protection of human life, property, ensuring justice for victims and safeguarding the rights of every citizen cum resident of the State remain sacrosanct under his leadership of the command.
The CP stated this at the formal decoration of the 102 officers of the command who were recently promoted to new ranks by the Police Service Commission, held at the Command's headquarters, Owerri on Tuesday.

CP Danjuma who represented the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, at the ceremony congratulated the newly promoted and urged them to continually uphold the core values of integrity, professionalism, and quality service delivery.
He said, "To you, the newly promoted officers, you have earned this recognition through your hard work and resilience, but as you step into these higher ranks, know that the responsibility is now greater.
"I urge you to embrace your roles with determination and humility. Your journey is just beginning, and I have no doubt you will rise to the challenges ahead and continue making Imo State a safer place for all."

Meanwhile, our reporter gathered that the newly promoted officers include one Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), 29 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSP), 6 Superintendents of Police (SP), and 67 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP).
Speaking at the ceremony on behalf of the newly promoted officers, ACP Okezie Daniel Iroakazi expressed deep gratitude to the Police Service Commission, IGP and CP for their recognition and support, assuring that the officers would continue to serve Imo State with renewed commitment and determination to ensure its safety.
Among the officers decorated were ACP Iroakazi Okezie Daniel, head of the Department of Operations; CSP Martins Emerie, DPO Njaba; CSP Ejimkaraonye Maxwell, DPO Owerri Urban; CSP Obidinanwa Julianah, DPO Shell Camp; CSP Oti Kennedy Kelechi, DPO Orji; CSP Eke Chinyere; CSP Yakubu Ibrahim, DPO Mgbidi; SP Ejidike Valentine, Officer in charge of the Command’s control room; DSP Eze Ebuka, Divisional Traffic Officer, Shell Camp; DSP Abdulfatai Garba, PA to the DC Operations; and DSP Okoye Henry, the Command’s Public Relations Officer.
