Leadership of Obollo Autonomous Community in Isiala Mbano Council of Imo State, on the aegis of Obollo General Assembly (OGA) has solicited support of the LGA boss, Hon. Chika Okoroike to address security challenges of the community.
The call was made when the Obollo leaders led by the OGA President-General, Engr. Okey Ezenwata Onyeka and the Community Councillor, Hon. David Chigozie Ajaero paid Hon. Okoroike courtesy visit at his office, at Council Headquarters, Umuelemai on Tuesday.
Speaking at the visit, Engr. Ezenwata and other Obollo stakeholders expressed concern over the prevaling security issues in the community, despite concerted efforts made to combat the menace.
They appealed to the LGA boss to carry Obollo Community along in his sundry projects that would help ensure socio-economic development and general well-being of Obollo people and the community.

The Obollo chieftains also applauded the LGA boss for his laudable achievements since his assumption of office, while pledging the continued support and collaboration for more sustainable development and overall progress of the entire LGA and the state at large.
"Obollo is a gateway town in Ugiri and is fast developing and is a destination for many. We therefore need to employ both human and technological measures to keep Obollo safe for all. So please assist us install CCTV in Obollo to boost our security alertness.
"The Obollo General Assembly Executive and Patrons aim to collaborate with your office to support initiatives that will benefit both our people and the broader Isiala Mbano Local Government." Engr. Ezenwata said.

Responding, Hon. Okoroike thanked the Obollo leaders for the visit and promised to continually partner the community on efforts towards achieving the lofty developmental vision of the state governor, Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma for the state.
He also lauded the OGA leadership for their commitment in uplifting the socio-economic development of Obollo Community, stressing that the Obollo remained one the most developed community of the Council area.
The Isiala Mbano Council boss further urged them to deepen peace in the community by uniting all and sundry for a collective good of the entire people, adding that Obollo has many illustrious and wealthy indigenes who are genuinely committed to socio-economic well-being of the community.

While Hon. Okoroike received the Obollo leaders with his vice, Hon. Mrs. Stella Laz - Onyema and other management team of the Council, in the Obollo delegation included Clan Chief John Onyenze, Mr. Jeff Anyaku, Hon. Anselem Onuoha, Prof Odinakachukwu Ejiogu, Prince Emeka Mbaeyi and High Chief Maurice Emezue.
Others were Hon. Julius Onyenebo, Geoffrey Enwerem, Desmond Ugwuoha, Lolo Nwachukwu Loveth, Chief Okoroji Uche Chris, Nze Chijioke Njokuocha, Dr. Emmanuel Osuji, Chief Nwokoro Innocent, Ezinne Carol Anyanwu, Hon. Nwajiugo Onyelike and Comr. Collins Osuji.
