Eleven Brothers' congratulates Owerri Area Commander over National award

A social oriented organisation, Eleven Brothers has congratulated the Area Commander, in-charge of Owerri Metro, ACP Michael Abattam over his recent award as the best Area Commander of the Year 2024 by the Nigeria Police Force.

The group described the national recognition bestowed on ACP Abattam, who is the Patron of the association as deserving, commendable and testament of his professionalism, diligence, selflessness and commitment to duty cum public safety.

This was as the group led by Chief Solomon Nwafor paid the Area Commander courtesy visit at his office, on Wednesday.

Speaking, Nwafor disclosed that the visit was in demonstration of the group's affection and solidarity to the national award winning gallant officer, while pledging continued support of the association to ACP Abattam.

He stated that ACP has impacted positively in the individual life all the members, contributed immensely to the growth and development of the association as well as distinguished himself as one of the best crime fighters both Imo State and the nation are proud of through his exemplary leadership, extraordinary achievements and people oriented policing style.

"We are here today to celebrate our patron, our big brother, our awesome friend and our amiable leader. ACP Michael Abattam is no doubt one of the best police officers you can think of here in Imo State and beyond. He is a leading example to his folks and junior officers.

"Without much ado, we are here just to celebrate him and to pray God to continue to afford him the wisdom, grace, strength, sound health and other enablement to do more for the collective betterment of the society. We also pray to see him achieve more acolytes and promotions." Nwafor said.

Responding, ACP Abattam expressed immense appreciation to Eleven Brothers for the visit, stressing that the national recognition may not be achieved without their individual and collective support to him and the area command.

He used the opportunity to also thanked the IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, CP Aboki Danjuma and all personnel of the Imo State Police Command for their confidence in him and support, which he said has continued to encourage him in the job.

The visit had in attendance members of the association including Comr. Collins Osuji, (Secretary), Mr. Raphael Oriemezie, (Treasurer) Mr. Sunday Obaji, (PRO), Engr. K C Ekechi (Assistant Secretary), Dr. Cornelius Gogo, and the personnel of the area command.
