Imo State Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma has applauded the state Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodinma for his unwavering support in the onslaught against violent crimes in the State.
CP Danjuma gave the applause on Sunday while inspecting the 22 operational vehicles and 8 Armored Personnel Carriers (APC), that were refurbished by the state government for the command.
Recalled that Uzodimma had also recently donated 27 brand new patrol vehicles to the Command to enhance effective and efficient policing of the state.

The Imo police boss also appreciated the governor for his genuine concern and commitment to the overall welfare of men and officers of the command.
He noted that the Governor has demonstrated genuine support to the wives and families of deceased and injured personnel who have paid the supreme price while fighting crime in the State which according to him has served as a morale booster for serving personnel.
CP Danjuma further noted that, "His Excellency's enormous contributions, particularly in areas of providing the needed logistics and resources to the command, have remained the backbone behind the majority of the Command’s security achievements."
The Imo Police Commissioner also extended his gratitude to the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, for his outstanding support and constant provision of logistic cum welfare packages to the personnel.
He assured that the refurbished vehicles will be strategically deployed across all Police Divisions and Area Commands in the State for round-the-clock visibility policing and night patrol to enhance the overall safety and security in the State for economic growth and development.
The CP assured that the Command under his watch will never relent in its unflinching determination to safeguard the lives and properties of the residents of the State; while soliciting continued support from all and sundry in the fight against crimes and criminality in the State.
