The Commissioner of Police, Taraba State, CP Ukachi Peter Opara has assured citizens and residents of the state of adequate security during the yuletide season cum celebrations.
CP Opara gave the assurance when he paid courtesy visits to heads of some sister security agencies in the state including the Director, Department of State Security Services, DSS; Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) and the Commandant, Nigeria Drugs Law Enforcement Agency ( NDLEA) recently.

The CP, who reiterated the commitment of the command in the fight against crime and criminality in the state, solicited continued corroboration and support from both other security agencies and the public in securing the state.
He emphasized that security is a collective responsibility of all and sundry in the state, adding that, "with firm collaboration the state would be better policed."
In their separate remarks, the heads of other security agencies pledged their supports, noting the need for all hands to be on deck towards safeguarding the state.
The Commissioner of Police was accompanied on the visits by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in-charge Operations, DCP Shehu Umar Didango; the Assistant Commioner of Police in charge of State Intelligence Department of the Command, ACP Philip Dakon as well as the Command's Public Relations Officer, SP Usman Abdullahi, amongst others.
