Members of Imo State correspondents' Chapel have expressed joy following the appointment of their colleague, Sir Amby Uneze of Thisday Newspaper by Governor Hope Uzodinma as his Special Adviser on Print Media.
In a statement made by the Chairman, Chris Njoku described Uneze's appointment as God's doings and urged other colleagues to remain steadfast in their duty as watchdog of the society.
He said, "with God all good deeds are possible. Let us glorify God for remembering one of us-Sir Amby Ambrose Uneze who has been appointed as Special Adviser to Governor Hope Uzodinma on Print Media.
"May the Lord beam His Light on our good deeds so that in reciprocal action, we will be uplifted. Amen. Congratulations."
Recall that Uneze's appointment was announced in release signed by the State's commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba on Friday.
Emelumba said Uneze's appointment, alongside other forty Special Advisers, takes immediate effect.
The release reads, "HIS Excellency, sen Hope Uzodimma, CON, the Executive Governor of Imo State, has approved the appointment of the following persons for the respective portfolios as listed herein."

The new appointees include Dr. Perry Njoku (S.A. Hygiene), Chief Morrison Njoku (S.A Environment), KELECHI Norbert Offor (S.A. Ogbonna (S.A Rural Mobilization) and Obioma Nwamuo (S.A Private Schools).
