Immediate past Special Adviser to Governor Hope Uzodimma on Labour Matters, Clan Chief Tonyblack Nduka has advised his follow politicians in the state to stop running around, lobbying to be appointed or reappointed into the forthcoming new cabinet.
He urged them to rather focus on activities that would complement efforts of the governor for a progressive and prosperous Imo.
Tonyblack, former Mayor of Okigwe Zone stated this while speaking to newsmen at his plantain farm, situated at his country-home, Umuchieze, Obollo, Isiala Mbano LGA, weekend.
He said the Governor would not give in to sentiments but rather prioritize credibility and capacity of each individual to deliver while choosing his next cabinet members.
He stated that the Governor for his benevolence nature, used his first tenure to compensate many of his loyalists and those who contributed to his election victory, but added that, "such may not be the case this time around."

According to him, "in this second tenure, it is only but wise to know that our governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, being a goal oriented leader will only consider those who delivered in the first tenure and those who has the capacity to help him achieve his lofty dream for the state in his new appointment."
"Obviously, some previous appointees deserve a second opportunity because many of them performed creditably well in helping our governor delivere his vision and mission for the state." he added.
He said, "Today, after our dissolution as expanded cabinet members, I returned to my farm where I have commenced training of some Imo youths on agro business and expertise.
"My aim is to channel the attention of these youths to agriculture. Agriculture, as we know, is a veritable source of income and economic growth. And when they go into agriculture, I would have succeeded in taking them away from the streets into meaningful life venture.
"So I hope to assist them become independent and successful farmers in a near future. This will enable them fend for themselves and to contribute to the overall economic growth and development of our state and society at large."

He continued, "You and I know that, agriculture, youth empowerment and employment are fulcrum of our governor's vision for the state because he believes strongly in the future of our dear State.
"So I will think that instead of me running around looking for who will help me convince the governor to consider me for reappointment or lobbying to influence my appointment, I will rather devote my time to doing things to consolidate the developmental efforts of the governor for the state. And I think that is what every well-meaning Imo politician should be doing by now."
"For your information, Sen. Hope Uzodimma knows what he wants and who he needs to achieve results. He is a versatile politician and leader and can only choose anyone he deemed fit to be appointed.
"I can bet you that in this second term, our governor will not compromise on achieving greater results for the general good of the state." Tonyblack added.
