She opined that empowering women, mentally and economically, enable them effectively contribute their quota for general good of the society.

According to her, "the woman is very key and when the woman gets it right, the family, the community and of course the nation as a whole will get it right. So if the woman is in power, both mentally, spiritually and otherwise, then of course the nation that we all have been living in, will of course get it right.

"So this submit is here again in Imo State, to make sure that a woman out there, is empowered and if we are able to do that successfully, then we are good to go, not just as a family or an individual, but the nation as a whole."

"We need to wake up. We need to allow ourselves to be repositioned, knowing that the only way things can get right, is for us to be involved and not by dragging who is the head or not the head."

"A woman is a nuturer. Hence, whatever a woman does not nuture, dies. So for every woman out there, I want to use this opportunity to make this call. To say please, this is time for us to wake up and know that we can't keep complain. We can't keep doing things the old way.

"We must sit up and contribute our own quarter because it is only by doing so that our children will be ok, our husbands will be ok, our nation and of course the world will be ok. The woman is key and this can not be overemphasized." She added.

She disclosed that the 5-day women retreat, is designed to inspire cum spur the over 400 expected participants to become vessels of success, transformational agents and goal setters.
