Owerri CBN chief visits Imo CP, showers encomiums

Branch Controller, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Owerri, Mrs. Oruwari, O. Boma has applauded the Imo State Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma for his laudable achievements in crime fighting and sustenance of peace and stability in the state. 

Mrs. Boma gave the commendation when she in company of other top management of the financial institution paid the Imo police boss a courtesy visit in his office at the Command’s Headquarters Owerri, on Monday. 

She stated that the essence of the visit was to strengthen the already established inter-agency collaboration and cordial relationship that exist between the Staff of CBN, Owerri and the Police. 

She further promised that CBN Owerri would continually partner the police in areas that ensure cum promote peace, stability, overall development, safety and general well-being of all and sundry in the state.

Responding, CP Danjuma who received the Owerri CBN team with the Command’s management team, expressed appreciation for the visit and encomiums.

He stressed that the command would continue to partner and rely on the support of all stakeholders in the state to succeed in providing maximum security of lives and properties of the residents of the State.

The Imo Commissioner of Police who also used the opportunity to reiterate the commitment of the command under his watch in ridding the state of all forms of crimes and criminality, urged Imo residents to avail the police and other security agencies in the state useful information that would help in making the state crime-free.
